About Linuxtor

Linuxtor is new Linux website. Our articles cover not only Linux, but also free and open source software.

We post news from the Linux and open source world, how-to articles, application reviews, tips and tweaks.

Linuxtor is not another copy / paste blog. We actually test things and try to come up with unique and original content.

Linuxtor serves as a Linux and open source toolbox, in order to help our readers:

  • Install that cool new application for which there are no installation instructions anywhere.
  • Stay up to date with news from the free and open source software world.
  • Tweak various parts of their system or desktop interface.
  • Find an alternative to a Windows or Mac app you can’t live without, or to an application that no longer works.
  • Fix system and application issues.

Linuxtor caters to both novice and experienced users. We try to present everything in an easy-to-understand, easy-to-use format, but that might not be enough in some cases. If you don’t understand something or want some clarifications, leave a comment and we’ll do our best to explain and make everything clear.

If you’re new to Linuxtor, make sure to subscribe to our RSS feed to receive updates in your favorite feed reader. You can also receive updates by joining the Linuxtor Telegram channel, or by following us on Twitter or Facebook.
